About Role:

To build and maintain connections with vendors in order to purchase material in the appropriate quantity, at the appropriate price, and at the appropriate time.

Responsibilities:

In charge of all acquisitions in the MRO category.
Developing new vendors and monitoring vendor contracts to reduce risks.
To evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate contractual terms and conditions, use suitable commercial evaluation and negotiation, cost and price analysis tools.
For all materials, the Just-in-Time (JIT) technique is used.
Understands the notion of E-procurement and the completion of all leverage materials via E-auction.
Using sustainable procurement practises for all items.
Engage in the strategic sourcing process, supplier selection, and contract repository maintenance.

Requirements:

Excellent communication abilities
Excellent decision-making abilities
Ability to prioritise and perform well under pressure
Is there a buyer
Mechanical engineering bachelor’s degree
4-6 years’ experience in a comparable job
