About Role:

Prepare QA/QC plans for new construction and renovation projects. Establish quality procedures, including time limits for inspection, sampling, and testing of work, as well as other QA/QC requirements. Oversee and manage material quality assessment through regular and stringent laboratory tests. Ensure that specific quality standards are met on a consistent basis at all levels of construction projects.

Responsibilities:

Petroplan is looking for a QA/QC Engineer to work for a major Oil and Gas client in Dubai.
This is a residential contract position with single status in the country.
The requirement is for a minimum of one year from the start date.
You will be doing office work.
To apply, you must have worked for an operator in a drilling / well operations department.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in construction work, with an emphasis on materials testing, quality control and assurance, laboratory testing, and a solid understanding of testing and material requirements and specifications.
Demonstrated experience in pre-stressing works and quality control, as well as experience in different classes of concrete mix-design under various construction conditions.
Knowledge of procurement practises is a plus.
Knowledge of UN/UNOPS rules and regulations is extremely beneficial.
