About Role:

Parsons is looking for an exceptional Safety Officer to join our team! You will be performing difficult and sometimes complex safety inspection tasks in this role. Road and bridge construction, as well as other related improvements (curb and gutter, street, sidewalk, landscaping).

Responsibilities:

Work on drainage, traffic control, and compliance with SWPPP requirements
Installation of traffic signal, ramp metering, and street lighting electrical equipment
Roadway and overhead sign removal and installation, as well as irrigation and planting.
Delineation and installation of temporary and permanent signs
Mechanical equipment installation

Requirements:

An accredited university diploma in environmental/loss prevention or any relevant engineering disciplines.
Three years of relevant experience as a Safety Officer/Inspector on infrastructure projects is required.
In the UAE, with recognised Health and Safety education, certifications, licences, or trainings (e.g. NEBOSH, OSHA, First Aid, Fire Safety etc).
With relevant experience working in an engineering consulting firm, preferred.
