About Role:

FLOORWORLD, the Middle East’s largest flooring company, is expanding rapidly. With dealers throughout the UAE and GCC, we specialise in supplying and installing all types of floor coverings at very competitive prices. Established in 2009 with the goal of providing the highest quality European branded flooring products at the lowest possible prices.

Responsibilities:

In Al Quoz Warehouse, we are looking for an experienced wood flooring Sample Maker.
Because our factory manufactures all types of oiled and lacquered wooden flooring as well as accessories such as skirting and profiles, knowledge of colour mixing would be advantageous.
Understanding of how to mix water and oil-based paints
Carpentry knowledge Knows how to build wooden samples from colour matching to sample board production
Can suggest potential materials and manufacturing methods

Requirements:

GED or high school diploma.
Previous Patternmaker experience is required.
Reading and interpreting blueprints and design models.
Expertise in computer drafting software, including CAD.
Fine motor skills are exceptional.
Working knowledge of measuring, snipping, milling, and cutting tools.
Detail-oriented.
The ability to work under pressure.
Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods of time.
