About Role:

As students board the bus, greet them and assist them in finding their assigned seats. To ensure that students safely board and disembark the bus, assist students with their bags and lunchboxes by ensuring that they are docked in designated areas on the bus.

Responsibilities:

Assist students with fastening their seatbelts and ensuring that they are properly strapped in throughout the trip.
Take and keep attendance
Students with special needs should be given extra attention and assistance to ensure that they are comfortable and happy.
Learn to recognise and respond to each student’s unique medical, physical, communicative, and emotional needs.
Manage student behaviour and communicate with teachers and parents about student behaviour on the bus on a daily basis.
To assist the driver, become familiar with all routes to and from the school campus.

Requirements:

Supervise students’ use of seat belts, harnesses, or bus seats.
Follow emergency procedures and, if necessary, assist the driver in administering first aid.
Use equipment in accordance with established safety procedures.
To perform job duties such as lifting and assisting students, follow established procedures and techniques.
