About Role:

This is a rewarding opportunity to be a part of a hugely successful, established contract where our customer has put their trust in us to help them meet their regional objectives.

Responsibilities:

Maintain the security of the premises and the location’s surrounding perimeter.
Maintain active awareness of current threat levels and be vigilant in reporting any suspicious activity observed.
When possible, provide friendly, helpful customer service and maintain collaborative working relationships (s) with personnel, contractors, and external agencies (e.g. Local Police).
Deter noncompliance with security protocols by acting as a deterrent.
Report any incidents to the client representative on duty, who will take appropriate action.

Requirements:

A minimum Baseline AGSVA security level clearance – this security clearance is only available to Australian citizens. (This is preferred but not required.)
A valid Australian driver’s licence for light vehicles is required.
A valid Certificate II in Security Operations and a security licence issued by the Australian State’s authorised Governing Body Organization. The security licence must be current and include the following licence functions:
