About Role:

We are looking for a physically fit and attentive security guard to ensure the safety of our property. The security guard is in charge of recording visitors’ names, patrolling the property, and apprehending any trespassers.

Responsibilities:

Assists in the smooth operation of the safety and security department, ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards.
Works as part of a team to maximise guest satisfaction and comfort by responding to guest inquiries in a positive and timely manner.
Takes responsibility for the role’s duties and tasks, ensuring that all work is completed on time and in a professional manner.
Delivers on departmental plans and objectives, ensuring that hotel initiatives and targets are met.
Collaborates with their direct report to ensure that costs and inventory are under control, and that productivity and performance levels are met.

Requirements:

Experience in safety and security is advantageous but not required.
Hands-on approach with a can-do attitude at work
Passion for the hospitality industry and dedication to providing exceptional guest service
Capability to find creative solutions while taking responsibility for duties and tasks assigned
Personal integrity, as well as the ability to work in an environment where excellence is expected
Working knowledge of IT systems on various platforms
Excellent communication abilities
