About Role:

The purpose of this position is to assist the Lead Store Keeper in providing effective inventory management and services to the Dubai Metro Engineering & Maintenance Department.

Responsibilities:

Offload materials, identify and physically inspect the delivery.
Oversee material offloading and ensure that it corresponds to the delivery documents.
To maintain accuracy, record received materials in the inventory management system.
Place all received materials in the designated area.
Sort received hazardous materials by type and make sure MSDS and COSHH are available when storing.

Requirements:

Other Duties
Implement or suggest cost-cutting measures.
To ensure stock integrity, record any stock movements in the inventory management system.
Conduct and coordinate stock audits.
Maintain proper store housekeeping.
If legally / officially trained, operate a forklift truck and other lifting equipment.
Work with chemicals and flammable materials.
