About Role:

Fulfills warehouse human resource objectives by hiring, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, counselling, and disciplining employees, communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions, and recommending compensation actions in accordance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Maintains storage area by organising floor space, adhering to storage design principles, and making recommendations for improvements.
Maintains inventory by performing physical counts on a monthly basis, reconciling variances, and entering data.
Turns on alarms and tests systems to secure the warehouse.
Maintains equipment by enforcing operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, requiring preventive maintenance, and requesting repairs.
Participates in educational opportunities and reads technical publications to keep job knowledge up to date.
Completes related results as needed to complete warehouse and organisation mission.
