About Role:

To be a successful storekeeper, you must be able to multitask and work under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanour with customers. A good storekeeper manages stock by keeping track of sales and ordering replacement items as needed, as well as occasionally purchasing new products that customers may enjoy.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain stockroom receipts, records, and withdrawals.
  • Supplies are received, unloaded, and shelved.
  • Other stock-related responsibilities include returning, packing, pricing, and labelling supplies.
  • Examine deliveries for any damage or discrepancies;
  • Maintain inventory control by maintaining adequate record keeping and managing all documentation.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of standard concepts and best practises in a stockroom
  • Analytical mind with ability
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
  • Data entry, analysis, and management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Knowledge of how to use common office equipment
  • A high school diploma or its equivalent is required.
  • 2+ years of storekeeping, inventory control, or recordkeeping experience
