About Role:

To perform warehouse tasks such as receiving deliveries and shipments from suppliers in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Make sure the encoder receives accurate invoices, that the Portable Data Terminal (PDT) is functioning properly, and that the supplier barcodes are successfully scanned.
Conduct manual inspections for Local Purchase Orders (LPO) containing less-than-specified products in addition to blind checks to prevent discrepancies and shrinkage.
As per the product guidelines, make sure that items are inspected for quantity, quality, and expiration. Keep a diary of this information, including Return to Supplier/ Vendor Items (RTS/ RTV).
Make sure the shortfalls are noted and designated for the supervisor’s approval.

Requirements:

Proven track record as a warehouse manager Expertise in best practises and procedures for warehouse management
Proven capacity to carry out initiatives for process improvement
a thorough understanding of warehouse KPIs (KPIs)
practical knowledge of databases and warehouse management software
