About Role:

Our goal is to keep in-house production to a bare minimum and, to the greatest extent possible, work with external suppliers for components, assembly, and logistics. This position must ensure that the company can achieve scalable growth through close collaboration with a network of key suppliers.

Responsibilities:

In charge of developing and managing the Supply Chain budget (costs, quality, service & HSE).
Supply chain sourcing entails locating and optimising suppliers, negotiating scope and terms, and so on.
Ensure that all requirements for the business supply chain are understood, documented, and met (includes Operating manuals, quality, legislation, regulations & HSE requirements)
Program development and implementation for supply chain improvement.
Providing timely and accurate access to reports, metrics, and databases needed to manage supply chain costs and service.
Contract manager for all third-party supply chain services, including production, warehousing, and transportation/delivery, as well as invoice approval.

Requirements:

Previous purchasing or logistics experience is required, as is assembly-based production experience.
Functional: At least 5 years of previous experience in a similar position in a SME.
Project/Change management: Has prior experience leading change projects within his or her own business unit (s).
People management: Has at least two years of experience as a hierarchical manager of a team of at least five employees.
