About Role:

Provide and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders for goods and services as required by company departments in a timely manner. Obtain additional information about departmental/office requirements and prepare recommendations on vending sources. Examine and analyse departmental/project purchasing requirements to develop an effective procurement strategy.

Responsibilities:

Participate in the specification development of services, equipment, products, supplies, or substitute materials.
Conduct meetings, prepare and present reports, and provide information to identify purchasing needs, establish business plans and performance goals, and report performance against plan and business goals.
Interpret company purchasing policies, processes, and procedures on a regular basis in order to make recommendations to the Procurement/Logistics Manager about areas for consideration.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering/Business Administration/Related Certificate
2-3 years of supply chain experience Proficient in MS Office Excel and Word
ERP system expertise
Capability to create reports and presentations
Interpersonal and negotiation abilities
familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management
Understand the import-export mechanism and documentation for goods and services.
