About Role:

Interpreters translate verbal communication from one language to another and serve as translators when language barriers exist. Interpreters are sometimes used to translate written communication from one language to another. Interpreters work in a variety of industries, including education, health care, insurance, and law.

Responsibilities:

Interpreting between a diverse range of people with varying voices, accents, speaking tempos, and personalities.
Providing clear and exact translations of written materials and interpretations of verbal communication to parties.
Interpreting questions, answers, statements, arguments, explanations, and other forms of oral communication.
Providing visual translations of documents and other written materials.
Imparting speaker thought, purpose, spirit, emotions, and tone from source language to target language.
There are no additions or omissions in the interpretation.

Requirements:

Two (2) years of work experience in a healthcare setting.
Understanding of medical terminology.
Excellent management and coordination abilities.
Ability to communicate with patients and relay messages in a culturally sensitive manner.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities are required.
Practical experience with the Microsoft Office suite.
