About Role:
We are seeking an Accountant to oversee and manage our financial activities, including fixed costs, fluctuating expenses, bank transactions, and budgeting. The Accountant will be tasked with auditing financial records and processes, reconciling bank accounts, and determining tax obligations and refunds. To excel in this role, prior experience in bookkeeping and a keen eye for identifying numerical errors are essential. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver precise financial insights regarding our business’s financial standing, liquidity, and cash flow, while ensuring adherence to all tax compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:
Here are the main responsibilities:
- Verify and analyze financial records, reports, and statements to ensure accuracy and adherence to legal requirements.
- Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring prompt processing and settlement of invoices.
- Aid in the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning endeavors.
- Execute monthly and quarterly reconciliations to guarantee precise reporting and upkeep of ledgers.
- Prepare tax filings and ensure conformity with local, state, and federal government regulations.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.
- Provide financial assessments and reports to facilitate decision-making procedures.

Requirements:
Here are the qualifications and skills required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related job field.
- While CPA certification is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience in accounting or a comparable role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical prowess and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
