Responsibilities:
Here are the main responsibilities:
- Handling day-to-day accounting functions like accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Preparation and scrutiny of financial statements, encompassing balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities, offering insights and recommendations to management.
- Ensuring accuracy and completeness by reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts.
- Conducting periodic audits of financial data to detect and rectify discrepancies or errors.
- Aiding in tax preparation and compliance, including tax return filing and liaison with external auditors.
- Monitoring and analyzing financial performance metrics to identify trends and areas for enhancement.
- Providing financial analysis and support for the decision-making processes within the organization.
- Staying updated about alterations in accounting regulations and standards to ensure compliance.

Requirements:
Here are the qualifications and skills required:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Preferred, but not mandatory, possession of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Previous experience in accounting or a related field, with a profound understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experienced and meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong organizational and time management proficiencies, with adeptness in task prioritization.
