About Role:

A senior tax accountant will establish and update systems for preparing taxes for businesses, prepare and file returns, and maintain regulatory compliance. To help businesses make the necessary modifications, people should be knowledgeable about the most recent tax legislation. Junior tax accountants are also under the supervision of a senior tax accountant.

Job Responsibilities:

Help the Group Tax team prepare, assess, and evaluate all tax schedules, tax packs, and related documentation received for the monthly, interim, and year-end cycles as part of our bi-annual tax reporting process.
Must prepare the necessary files and backup documents to prove the accuracy and completeness of its annual Country by Country Reporting (CbCR) cycle in all jurisdictions where filing is required.
preparation of all necessary notifications and supplemental paperwork for the Ministry of Finance’s annual submission of the UAE Economic Substance Regulation report.
Support the Group Tax’s monthly updating of the various structure charts.

Job Requirements:

A university degree in accounting or economics is required, followed by CPA or ACA certification.
Minimum of 5 – 7 years of tax accounting experience (preferably as a member of a Big 4 tax compliance team and/or industry at a global multinational).
Solid and proven experience in tax consolidation matters, as well as proficiency in dealing with tax reporting and compliance issues.
